Welcome to Welcome
to our website, I
want to first start off by explaining why our website has changed and why we
are now focused on Duchenne Muscular
Dystrophy. DMD is a progressive
disease that deteriorates the use and strength of the muscles and eventually
the life of young boys. My son, Barett, was diagnosed with this disease in 2007. Boys with this disease are typically in a
wheelchair by 11 or 12 years old and seldom live past their early twenties. There is currently no known cure and the
disease is 100% fatal. These boys do
not get to experience the outdoors in the same way as most of us. Our goal is to change
this. This website has been serving hunters since
2003 by assisting them in locating an affordable hunting opportunity. For the first time in 2010, our new
strategy will be to provide all of our outfitter contact information on this
website at no charge. Scroll down
this page to find information that we have historically charged a fee for
providing. Now, it is available for
your reference at no charge. All we
ask in return is that you consider a donation of your discretion to support
the expenses of this website and to keep it running. In addition to keeping this great
information source available to the public, you will also be assisting with
finding a cure for DMD. The reason is
because we will commit a minimum of 50% of all profit that we obtain through donations to be
passed on specifically to support the research and development of a cure for
DMD. As a reference, our organization
of choice will be Parent Project
Muscular Dystrophy. Please
consider this request, and understand that no dollar amount is too small for
consideration. We appreciate your
assistance and hope that you find this website valuable. Thank
you, Duke
